Our Story

Alpha Epsilon Phi was founded on October 24, 1909 by seven Jewish women who shared a vision of creating a lifelong sisterhood that promoted academic excellence, social involvement, and community service. Today, we continue to honor their legacy by providing our members with a home away from home where they can thrive both personally and professionally. Our sisterhood is grounded in support, respect and care and encourages each member to pursue their passions while uplifting others.

The Phi Eta chapter was founded on November 6, 1983 at Jacksonville University.

Our Values

At Alpha Epsilon Phi, we are dedicated to fostering a community centered around our core values. We believe that selfless service, intellectual growth, and academic excellence are essential to personal development and success. Our sorority also values beauty, strength, and wisdom, as we strive to empower women to lead confident and fulfilled lives. We are proud to uphold these values and to serve as a sisterhood that is committed to helping women achieve their full potential.
